If you have no clue where to go when visiting this area, look no farther than Janice's Diner.We were staying at a campground only a few minutes away from this restaurant and decided to give it a shot, and boy are we glad we did. The servers where so incredibly kind, but not only that the prices are so insanely low for a sit down restaurant. Most plates are around $6-8 and the portions are absolutely massive for the price!We had breakfast here and got more than we could eat, and the food was hot and fresh! We didn't even have to wait more than 5 minutes for our food after we placed our order. This was faster than some fast food restaurants I have visited by far and in a much more inviting space.

It would be very hard to find a place with better home cooking and very reasonable prices. Family owned and pride!

The food was old and warm like it was sitting out all day, and got reheated. The only side dish I didnt mind were the fries, however, the corn, fake mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese weren't good at all.If you go here, only get the burgers with fries/buffalo chips. The service is pretty good and the atmosphere is fine. Tables are kept clean and masks are not required.

Breakfast was delicious. Staff was nice to chat with.

Good home cooked food. Nice small town atmosphere. I've eaten here a bunch of times and the food was always yummy! I love their catfish. Service is really good too and they have a bunch of homemade cakes made fresh everyday.

The food has always been excellent. What you get for the price can not be beat. Highly recommend eating here if you are in the area.

We came because Trish's diner is closed on Sundays and we are staying at a campground nearby. Took about 20 minutes being seated to be greeted by a server. Annette and the other young lady were very nice but the food took another hour and came out COLD...ice cold and was bland. COLD BISCUITS SLATHERED WITH COLD GRAVY, pale hash browns that resembled more mashed potatoes, cold eggs, cold undercooked bacon. We were so shocked and confused we just ate a bit to kill our hunger but left with food on our plates. Maybe lunch and dinner are better but A Warning to future campers: Drive...drive the 15- 17 miles further to get better food. This was not worth it at all.

Good food. Big portions. Friendly staff. Very affordable prices.

It just isn't anything special. Everything was cold and undercooked except the fish which was overcooked

This place is a hidden gem We knew when we pulled up and saw the local pickup trucks it was going to be greatWe had 2 waitresses both were kind and always around for anything Within 2 min we had coffee and water at the table Within 10 min our fresh breakfast was out It was nothing fancy what so ever But fresh flavorful and downright home styleI mean 12 bucks for 2 people to eat breakfast You can not beat that Cute and deff local vibe Will return next year when we vacation

We went for breakfast and ordered scrambled eggs with bacon hash browns and biscuit for one and egg sandwich and hash browns for second order. Bacon was raw, both hash browns looked like just barely threw on grill not cooked and cold, and biscuit was like leftove and cold. Sad experience from a restaurant that stays full but was not busy today. As we paid normally you are asked how food was but I'm sure they knew by leftovers on our plates it wasn't eatable. Sad from a business that we once ate at regularly due to service and good food in past.

We had a delicious breakfast here! Coffee was great as well. Make sure you have cash.

Always love the comfort food here. I actually enjoy the fresh salad most! My husband loves the smothered chicken. The kids loved the jelly packets in the table.

Staff is very cold and unfriendly. Couldn't get their attention multiple times had to go find waitress because she ignored us. Food was average at best. nothing special nothing unique. Seems to be a popular place, but I am not sure why. The locals seem to get special attention while the visitors from out of town seem to be ignored. Strange, because of the volume of visitors from out of town for the area???? The facility seemed well cleaned and inviting.

This is my new favorite place in Tennessee when we visit our cabin. Their food is amazing and I had the best ever mounds chocolate cake!! Everyone should try this place out!

Great place to eat. Staff are very courteous. We had turkey and stuffing, grilled chicken sandwich and chicken club. All were excellent. Meats were very tender and juicy. Lots of homemade desserts to choose from. Big portions and reasonable prices. Will definitely be back!

I've been here for breakfast dozens of times, everything has been awesome. Only once did I have bad overcook food ( I'm assuming it was a new cook), besides the one bad visit in 2017, it's always consistently good, and consistently at restaurants in this area is rare,lol. Haven't had supper here yet, but judging from the plates I've seen, it looks good. Breakfast ends at 11am, so arriving on time is important! The service is exceptional, all staff is friendly and even when it's busy they do the best they can to keep your coffee cup tipped off. If your visitors in the area, please take the short trip from the tourist areas for a bite to eat, keeping good local business profitable is very important to us. My only complaints are they don't serve breakfast all day, and the lighting is bad, its florescent tubes in the front and the horrible cfl type bulbs in the back .

Absolutely a great place to eat. Courteous staff, reasonably priced with PLENTY on your plate. I had the Club sandwich, which is to die for. Definitely worth the trip from Blythewood OR anywhere else.

The food was yummy and inexpensive...the inside is decorated nice...the Waitress was very nice and got our order correct. THEY TAKE CASH ONLY BUT HAVE AN ATM. We will definitely go back there and recommend.

Food was okay. Restaurant was filthy. Service was less than desirable. Never checked back to see if we were doing okay or needed anything even though they checked on the surrounding tables. Maybe because we are not locals? Idk.

Got the chicken dinner and was fantastic!!!! So much food!! Lots of chicken! Mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes, corn bread! The works, it was wonderful!! The carrot cake was beautiful! All of this for a wonderful price. You guys are amazing! Thank you for the out of state experience!! It was just what we were looking for!!

Great food, reasonably priced, and very clean restaurant. Was the staff a little cold?Yes, but I didn’t show up to be coddled by my momma. I came for great food. They delivered. That’s what’s up. The one star reviewers are just jealous that Janice can cook better than their momma.

Stayed at a cabin and brought food to cook. But Janice's was so good we made excuses not to cook and eat at Janice's. Great prices for really good food! Best omlettes!
